The Pink Panther was the first place float winner at Homecoming 1968. The Adels had not had a number one float since 1963's Days of Wine and Roses. 
The Eagle has Landed, a float commemorating the Apollo 11 landing on the moon, gave the Adels their second first place float winner in a row - Homecoming 1969 |
